Many have asked about the spawning of these ships.
This mod uses the threat scoring system from the Modular Encounters Spawner mod.

The Insurgent Freedom Militia, a force secretly backed by the IEC, is a group of vanilla or minimally modded vehicles and structures. Aimed at resisting the ever spreading mega corps, power grubbing individuals, and know it all mongers. The IFM grows as more become resistant to the rule of the governing corporations and give blueprints to people needing something reliable but easier on the resource budget.



Warrior Class Patrol Boat :

A sturdy and cheap gunboat for patrolling. Has construction and minimal refinery capabilities. Automatically fills hydrogen tanks if in water.

Tomahawk Class Cutter:

The IFM Cutter is a larger coastal patrol ship equipped for engaging larger ships and screening aircraft with a torpedo launcher (WIP), two Assault turrets and an AA gun.
Threat Score Req: 500

S-Class Patrol Sub:

A light, fast, and deadly sub, the S-Class Patrol Sub is capable of dishing out artillery fire as well as launching torpedoes (WIP) at unsuspecting targets.
Threat Score Req: 500

Holt Class Destroyer:

A longer range patrol and escort option, the Holt Destroyer is built for engaging all ranges of targets. Armed with artillery turrets, AA turrets, torpedo launchers(WIP) and a depth charge deployment system, the Holt is able to cover all offensive and defensive needs.
Threat Score Req: 1000

Morden Class Cruiser:

The IFM Morden cruiser is a moderate cruiser armed with multiple artillery guns for heavy hitting, quad torpedo launcher (WIP) and a consortium of AA options to protect the fleet. Has the capacity to dock Sub Fighters in a moon pool and land helicopter/tilt rotor craft on the rear deck.

Whysper Dronecraft Carrier:

The IFM Whysper Dronecraft Carrier is a cheaper alternative to the Freedom or Guardian. Built to handle drones, the dronecraft carrier comes equipped to construct and field Razor class drones.
Threat Score Req: 2500

Floating Liberation Base:


Capable of spawning a variety of drones. (Listed Below)
Threat Score Req: 5000

Small Cargo Vessel (WIP):

An inexpensive and effective cargo ship with 4 large cargo containers and basic construction and refinery systems.
Threat Score Req: 300

Medium Cargo Vessel (WIP):

The Medium Cargo Vessel is a built for hauling heavier than the Small Cargo Vessel. Has more deck space for transport of vehicles and assets. Has a rear cargo hatch.
Threat Score Req: 300

Spawnable Drones:
These are spawned by ships and bases. They DO NOT spawn by themselves.

Hornet Attack Craft:

The IFM Hornet Attack Craft is a cheap and reliable attack craft. Fast, Maneuverable and well armed, the Hornet is capable of leaving any enemy with a sting.

Wasp Explorer:

A small, cheap, fast, exploratory flyer

Razor Gatling Drone:

A cheap and effective gatling drone.

Razor Gatling Drone:

A cheap and effective autocannon drone.

Barracuda Assault Boat:

The Barracuda is a fast, shallow draft assault boat designed for high speed engagements

I'm not sure about the PCU thing. It could be. Thank you for sharing. Others have found that increasing the height of the water level helps as well.

I can confirm it has to do something with PCU, I deleted all but 10k of pcu and ships instantly spawned in

I can go into huge detail of what I have and such but the gist is, I had a couple ships spawn. Now with the same setup nothing spawns. in the list of things that can spawn is all the ships. I'm curious if this uses a pcu thing? that is the only real difference that has occurred.

Hi all, someone brought it to my attention that they found by increasing the height of the water level and sailing out onto the water with a ship that has sufficient threat score things will spawn more often.

So I have a theory. Just a theory so far. Pakeha is certain the code is working correctly. So I don't think that things not spawning is the code. I can't duplicate the problem where nothing spawns. But I don't play with any weapon mods that are capable of shooting beyond 2 km. So my theory: If memory serves me right, Pakeha and I decided that we didn't want to have ships spawn inside weapon ranges. This is largely because the ships we put into the mod will automatically target enemies up to 2km away if they have weapons to do so. So if you are playing with mods capable of targeting great distances then the ship are spawning outside render distance, which is why you may not be seeing anything. Just a theory though.

Okay. I got in touch with Pakeha. There are spawn commands, though you need to use the mod that allows for you to use commands. I didn't know that even existed and Pakeha can't remember which mod it is since it's been a while. But yes there are. And what are the weapon ranges for the weapon mods? I'm not familiar with Terram Titans or Rodrins Arsenal.

Are there spawn commands? im not getting any spawns while having a threat score of 2960

Yes. The Guardian Carrier is part of the mod. Its supposed to be close to a boss level spawn. Glad you loved it though!
