VME Mistilteinn-class Patrol Craft Fast

The Mistilteinn-class Fast Patrol Craft is a light, jump-capable Fast Attack Craft by Valkyrja - Maintenance & Engineering. Featuring a heavy armament, designed around a small, inexpensive hull, the Mistilteinn is a cost-efficient way for young colonies to control their airspace, easily capable of threatening larger warships when deployed in packs.

Significantly slower than the aging Laevateinn FAC, the Mistilteinn can still respond swiftly to CTAs thanks to the integrated jump drive. While the ship is also capable to operate in low altitude within a planet's gravity well, it was not primarily designed for that purpose and should only go planetside at own risk.




Another small Expanse-themed build - therefore featuring a vertical Interior. I throw this together in a rather quick fashion, but it came along very nicely.
It's quite high on PCU, but you can make it more server-friendly by removing all the decorative parts and lights. Gives you a good 100 blocks to cut.

For maximum effect on target, you're advised to utilize the Artillery-turrets superfiring layout and broadside from a safe distance.
Approach your target and tab it with the railguns, while you wait for getting a lock. Use the "copy target" option to get your turrets to bear, while you orbit your victim at above 1000m, where you will be safe from most counterfire. Introduce slight up- or downplane, while you orbit, so you can easily dodge enemy artillery turrets.
