Description
Intro
Hi everyone, I would like to address that this class of Light Cruiser is 100% fictional and did not exist at all irl. I would also like to address that I designed it myself so it may not be accurate at all to how a cruiser would be designed irl. It is fictional and was designed to be easy to use because of stormworks, attention to detail may be low because I am not too great with detail. Example, the mess hall. Rooms may not be detailed and if they are they will be low detail. Weapons use cameras and lasers for increased accuracy, Irl would not have these. I am also open to critism and ideas about how I could potentially improve this ship.
E.g;
- Moving back turrets further back for more aft space on deck for AA guns or even moving whole aft super structure back more for torpedos or aircraft crane as was planned.
Also this is a wip so photos may differ to the actual ship.

What has changed since release
- Winches, Moring Positions, New Turrets, Updated from HMLS Ploigoi, Some deck changes, more ext lights and weapon changes.
- Ship Classification
-V1.3 Revamp Some details on deck, Stern superstructure modified. Anchors added, Turrets reverted to mouse control after testing with WASD Control. All turrets are individual mouse control. Fixed Turret AA batterys. Boilers have been replaced. I did add a bow thruster on off key however it doesn't work so I'll figure out some logic for that.
-1 Minor Easter Egg.

What is going to change
- New working Turbines. I have a older ship with the same turbines in it as this version, however it will be added shortly after I do some more testing on the design. Same turbine build however it has a actual turbine inside the fake turbine.
Possibly adding a whistle to the ship, I have added a pipeline from all the boilers for a whistle however that'll be finished later.
-Fixing how the cannons droop after sitting for a while.

To Spawn
Unless your workbench is modded and you havent reached a block cap you will have to spawn the ship in the mission editor.

To operate
Settings: Infinite Ammo and electricity must be on otherwise the ship will not function.
Boilers are optional as of V1.3, they don't power anything, they're just aesthetic until I can get the turbines to work. There is a additional safety valve if they do fail which should help but no promises. Its button is in the bridge and is on by default.
Ship has two gears and two reverse gears, I suggest using L or R for turning because it turns on a dime.
Weapons must be operated first person only!

Thrusters on bow (for easy of steering at high speed).
Emergency Safety valve (Must keep on if 4 boilers are fired, otherwise safe off with only two fired, may not work as intended).

1x Flood door (door at back of turbine room will flood the ship due to physics flooder, I kept that there as a extra scuttle).

Why I built this ship
I wanted to build some sort of battleship based WW1 or WW2 and I had been designing some sort of battleship off and on for two years, firstly the Napier-Hamilton which was a Dreadnought and then the Akai-Kibun which was supposed to be a battleship which was incredibly out of scale. That ship was rebuilt three times and scrapped and then this was built after the loss of my last destroyer which I lost to saving over the file on accident with a gun :(

Lore
Built 1936 for the Royal Navy, Based off the Leander class Cruisers, Served in WW2 under the Royal Navy and the Royal New Zealand Navy. Lemonte and Abydos were sold to the RNZN and the Amberlee was sold to the Indian Navy after the war. The Lemonte and Abydos served in the Korean war and were scrapped in 1955 and 1954.

HMS > HIMS Amberlee 1936 - Sold to Indian Navy 1948. Sold 1972, Scuttled as an artificial reef in 1974.
HMS Devonian 1938 - Sold for scrap 1962.
HMNZS Abydos 1938 - Sold to RNZN ww2. Served in Korean war. Scrapped 1954.
HMS > HMLS Torquay 1938 - Sold to Lydney Navy Sunk 1942 WW2.
HMS Yamba 1939 - Sunk 1943 WW2, raised 1947 and scuttled elsewhere as artificial reef.

Note: Should be spawned in a mission with infinite electricity, engine overheating off and ammo on. Turrets must be operated in first person only!

Also crosshairs were not made by me, I forgot who made them and what addon that it was from so if anyone here knows or was the creator you are welcome to comment, I forgot to link the addon and whatnot.

I did at one point however it was too awkward to control, so all guns are mouse aim individually.

in the future could you make it so the main guns and such can be controlled via wasd or somthing i wanna be able to get screen shots and stuff but i cant
