Lore:

The Krieger-class battlecruiser represents one of ASD's largest and most expensive military ships, built at a time were capital assets were desperately needed as the Second Secession War was nearing its third year.
Quite a bit larger than the Amboss-class of Heavy Cruisers, the Krieger-class was nonetheless conceived following the same principle: what it lacks in armour, it makes up for in speed, manoeuvrability and firepower, putting it firmly into the battlecruiser niche - though one could say that with its extensive firepower, it is not likely to be outgunned by anything other than the heaviest of Kamari assets.
Still, though the classification was the subject of much debate amongst ASD officials, it was deemed that the terms "large cruiser" or "battleship" did not do justice to its intended purpose.

The Krieger-class features the same advanced radar system installed on the Bogen-class Artillery Cruiser after its refit, albeit dramatically upscaled and fine-tuned for capital ship detection.
Therefore, ships of the class would usually operate alone or with a few escorts, so as to easily prey on convoys and isolated targets, and were rarely used in fleet engagements - except as a backline sniper on occasions where something heavier than the Bogen-class was needed.

The Ajax has got quite an interesting history compared to its sisters. Despite being the second hull to be laid down, she was the first to enter service and see action, in the hands of captain Sibyl Halloway.
In fact, "action" is in this case quite the understatement: she was undergoing her shakedown cruise on the outskirts of the Sol sector, when she got ambushed by two Kamari battleships and their accompanying escorts.
Fortunately for her, she managed to make an emergency jump before said battleships could open fire, leaving her with only light damage to the outer-hull. She was not out of trouble, however, as she had misjumped into Kamari territory, albeit in a somewhat remote location.
After taking a moment to gather her spirits, captain Halloway ordered the crew to action stations and rigged the ship for silent running. She managed to get the jump on a Kamari flotilla that was passing in the sector, using an asteroid field to ambush the unwary ships. One cruiser, two destroyers and a corvette; manageable odds as far as Halloway was concerned.
The Kamari forces were understandably surprised to find an enemy ship alone in Kamari space, and this gave time for captain Halloway to disable the escorts with a few well-placed railgun shots, though not without receiving ferocious return fire.

The fight that followed was the stuff of legend. Having spent all its ammunition (which was reduced because it was supposed to be a normal shakedown cruise), Halloway ordered the crew to prepare for a boarding action.
However, having little in the way of guns since the armory took a hit in the fight, the crew resorted to using knives and sword - along with substantial doses of stimulants. When the breaching pods reached the Kamari cruiser, its crew saw a couple dozen soldiers emerge from the smoke with knives in their mouth and sword in their hands. So furious were they that the cruiser's crew started to scatter in panic as they failed to repel the assault - which was helped by the fact that the crew was mostly comprised of conscripts.
They did put up quite a fight, however: once the element of surprise wore off, they started to bite back; the difference being that they had guns while the Ajax's crew did not. In the end, though, ASD forces prevailed after a fight to the bitter end, and captain Halloway managed to recover precious intel on Kamari operations, as well as coordinates which helped her find a way home.
Now with a skeleton crew and substantial damage, the ship nonetheless managed to limp back to port for repairs, and the remaining crew told the tale of what happened.
Thus still to this day, ASD's crews refer to the Ajax with respect and affection as the "Jolly Roger".

Please make me aware of any issues regarding this design, it does help me improve. Any feedback in the comments is also appreciated!

What is the total Reactor Output? What weapons does it have? How much thrust in each direction? So many questions.

@zark Slightly larger than the Okeanos, but I did take inspiration from some of the elements. Helps me maintain a coherent design language for my faction.
