Description
Designed for recon, troop transport, and light anti-vehicle duty, the Tathlum class Multi-Role Vehicle is designed to get in, do its thing, and get out regardless of the terrain, while safely transporting up to four passengers in the rear.

This is the Alpha variant of the Tathlum. Outfitted with four-Autocannons and four-Assault Cannons, it can dispatch heavier vehicles and ships with relative ease, while still retaining some limited anti-air or anti-personnel capabilities. While less suited to AA, its particular weapons combined with its 45-degree firing angle makes it capable of inflicting reasonable harm onto starships that stray into its line of fire.

Heavy armor and blast door panels provide the Tathlum surprising durability. To maximize this, decoys were placed to prevent it being quickly incapacitated. In addition, a high contrast self-projection is available for repairs, made even easier by a set of service jacks to lift it off the ground. Ease of maintenance extends even to her power plants, being limited entirely to a pair of batteries and a back up hydrogen engine. Due to her pressurized spaces, she is also only slightly negatively buoyant, and can "fly" herself underwater.

The cabin itself is airtight and oxygenated. Seating arrangements are for two, with a driver and a gunner. By default, the turret's actuators are locked down to prevent unwanted activity. An on board ore detector allows it to locate resources for its allied force, and a pair of parachutes allow the Tathlum to be airdropped onto a CZ. The rear of the Tathlum contains a fully pressurized passenger cabin, complete with easy cargo access, weapon racks, and a survival kit. Maximum cruising speed is approximately 45 m/s, though acceleration is notably slower on a moon.

Scripts involved include a RADAR system that networks with other B.A.S. designs, functional LCD displays, SIMPL Damage Displays, an enhanced Artificial Horizon, Automatic Doors, a Planetary Compass, and Skid style steering.

Minor suspension height adjustment made for hassle free connections with connectors located directly below it.
