The upgrade path of the pikeman is a little less painful now.

Lancer strength increased to 26 (up from 25). Unique Lancer units set to 28 Combat strength.

Anti-tank guns are now available earlier at Combustion (instead of Combined Arms) and have 3 movements (up from 2). They should have an easier time actually catching tanks..now if only the AI were more likely to actually build armor units.

Helicopter Gunships Should have 80 Combat Strength and a 50% bonus to tanks, Same strength against tanks (120) but more viable against every other unit

i´d like the AT gun to upgrade to a TD, and later to a TOW on a humvee?

they just need something in-between lancers and tank guns, spending 3 eras with a dysfunctional unit that used to be my finest pikemen/spearmen is, heart wrenching

very nice. maybe a small upgrade for the helicopter gunship, too? maybe +2 strength or so.

Nice mod!

BTW, I like Khan's idea of the tank destroyer ( i've thought of something similar myself) but my idea was actually making the anti-tank gun upgrade into the tank detroyer. Just something to think about...

How about having a script increase mobility of the initially slower anti-tank gun when we get tanks? This is, after all, a function of towing capacity (pun not intended). Then create a TOW® weapons system when we get modern armor to which the anti-tank gun may upgrade (when we get rocketry?). TOW={Tube launched, Optically tracked, Wire guided} (TOW® are expected to be operational past 2050.) TOW® is a registered trademark of Raytheon. :)

I think it is made obsolete becuase there both unlocked at combustion mainly

Eh, I feel like no one would use the anti-tank gun otherwise. Would you say the Knight is made obsolete because the pikeman is unlocked one whole tech before it, requires no resources, etc?

Also one thing. You pretty much made the landship obsolete right out of the gate since the AT gun is stronger than it (combat wise) uses no oil, and can catch up with it easily.
