MU-05 Talos Heavy Combat Mech And Accessories

Description

The Jetpack is an optional attachment for the MU-05 Talos Heavy Combat Mech. This attachment allows Talos to take to the skys and gain an areal advantage! With a decent fuel capacity and a convenient fuel port, keeping a mech airborne has never been so easy! Simply attach the jetpack to Talos' backpack connectors and youre good to go.

  • Jetpack is controlled by tapping the hotkey "5" while seated in Talos.
  • With the jetpack enabled, Talos is capable of agile flight, even outmaneuvering some helicopters!
  • Fuel port located on the bottom of the pack provided for easy no-respawn-needed refueling (pack does not contain pump, an external one must be used).
  • Enabling the jetpack's function will automatically adjust Talos' legs accordingly, disabling walking in-flight.
  • Quick eject system installed for a fast and reliable backpack ejection.
  • Plug-and-play technology allows the jetpack to be easily installed via hardpoints on Talos' back, no logic or merging required!
  • For the determined individual, in the MC underneath the backpack (top right in the stack), there is a editable field labeled "RPS Target" where the rps can be manually overclocked if needed (default is 50).

For installation instructions, there is a gif on the main Talos page.

appreciate the help

I am right now retesting it to see if it is actually doable in talos. I tried pressurizing a plane that holds 110kL of kerosene. Seems that a large pump is enough as the flight time has increased. I may find better optimization

i know. I would have done it myself and sent you it but i have no idea how it actually works.

yeahhh, sadly it was made before the pressurization update so ill have to look into that at some point...

lack of tank pressurization makes throughput reduce over time- I don't know how to pressurize this
