The Champion Class Cruiser is the first ship in the Vanquishers fleet, that is armored.
It can take a lot more damage than the ships below its class.

The complete underside of the Champion is coated in heavy armor, aswell as most of
its sides.

Being a step up in size from the frigate it still has all the capabilities of the
frigate, but turned up a bit more. The hangar for the two Duelist Fighters remains and
the CIWS count increased to match the cruisers bigger size.
It still has four gatling turrets to defend against strike craft,
but it has a lot more in terms of heavy weaponry.

It has two front facing rocket launchers, aswell as six rocket turrets.
This amount of firepower allows the Champion Cruiser to outgun every ship below its size.

The usual defensive systems are in place. Lift thruster repair, decoy and projector,
all there.

The Champion Class Cruiser is the bread and butter of the Vanquishers fleet.
It is a durable and very capable ship in the right hands. It can master all
situations it may face on the battlefield.
