Description
Tired of mercenaries not behaving like mercenaries?
Do you want your credit hired fleets to just take credits?
Do you want PMCs to be helpful for literally anyone else other than the patron?
You are in luck!
We here at MegaCorp are proud to present... this mod!

What this mod actually does:
Reduces the amount of naval cap mercenary fleets require to zero.
Reduces the amount of alloys mercenary fleets require to zero.
Keeps the extra credit usage (likely still needs balancing, please provide feedback).
Increases the naval cap multiplier from Logistical Support to 25% (was 15%).

That's it. If there are any suggestions, feel free to comment them.

Does it still work, and is it save game compatible?

Very well. I have a few ideas. Maybe one special merc enclave army type depending on the type of ethics or gov't type that you've chosen. Or maybe a one-off army type that you can only get once from the enclave where the only way to get another is if that existing troop were to perish or if you dismiss it (the empire limit is 1).

Mercenaries already have two types of army to hire in the base game, but if you can give me some specifics on what additional armies could be hired I'd be happy to make them!

I wanna suggest something: more armies you can get from mercenary enclaves. But specialized and have their own custom icons. Like a merc tank battalion or merc CAS.

Finally got around to updating this. Should work now.

Doesn't seem to work. Im still getting alloy upkeep from mercenary fleets. I have released and re-hired them to be sure

Update: Mercenaries have much higher energy upkeep (agreed, it did need a higher cost)

I think the credit upkeep of the ships should be significantly increased. With them being free in terms of Naval Capacity, the cost of maintaining mercenaries is extremely small, and there's little reason to not keep every mercenary hired at all times, since once the mercenary's opinion of you is high, the up front payment is very small. Keeping the alloy upkeep at 0 makes sense, though.
