Description
Paprika, the Champion of Foenum's Highlands from Them's Fightin' Herds, joins the fight in Rivals!

Paprika is a middleweight, somewhat quick bruiser. She has a good set of relatively hard-hitting moves, and quite the handful of ways to string them together.
Paprika's gimmick is her magic meter. This meter allows her to use her Forward and Down special moves. It starts with her maximum 6 stacks, and unlike Velvet, it doesn't refill upon landing hits. Instead, it only refills on 3 conditions: losing a stock (refills it completely), parrying an opponent's attack (refills one stack), or having your own projectiles parried back at you (also refills one stack).

Paprika's Home Stage, Alpake Highlands, can be found here: https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2680913396

SPECIAL MOVES

Neutral Special: Kiss!
A command grab. Paprika reaches out in front of her, and if an opponent is within range, she goes in for a kiss. Once this kiss lands, it puts opponents into a temporary stagger state, making them completely vulnerable to follow-ups from Paprika for about 2/3 of a second so long as they're on the ground. It's not quite as useful when used on a foe that's in the air.

Forward Special: Gift Toss (Uses 1 Magic Stack)
Paprika tosses a flowerpot forward. A fairly standard projectile with decent damage and KO power.

Up Special: Basket Burst
Paprika retreats into her basket, and then pops out of it a split second later. While in the basket, she is completely intangible. For the first few frames after popping out of the basket, the move has a powerful, decently large hitbox.

Down Special: Rolling Gift (Uses 1 Magic Stack)
Paprika bounces a cinnamon roll off her nose. It then rolls forward on the ground for about 2 seconds. It causes a weak spike on contact, which usually results in a groundbounce.

OTHER NOTABLE MOVES

Down Strong: Belly Flop
This is Paprika's most devastating strong-- and that goes for both Paprika and her foes. If you use it off a platform or the ledge, it continues falling down. You can cancel it with a walljump to avoid plummeting to your doom, but of course, that's only if you're close enough to the wall before it's too late...

Back Air: Hip Check
This move originated as Paprika's pushblock animation in TFH. In Rivals, it acts as her Back Air instead. In reference to it's original nature as a defensive animation, the move has soft armor (about 2/3 the amount of armor that Etalus has on his Forward Air) throughout the duration of the move.

Paprika is compatible with the following workshop items:

Final Smash Buddy
Amber
Pit
Kirby
Dialogue Buddy
Greenflower Zone
Dedede Stadium

I really love your Moveset for Peprika, Velvet, and Your character Alpaca, though i know there still in work of progress i still like there moveset's and color pallets.

I think a charged projectile should work well for Peprika, and a little difference to some attacks like down attack could feel like yoshi from smash where it would push the fighter down slightly little bit like a meteor but lesser, but that depends on you, although i still like that you made her in rivels and i hope you make many more you love to enjoy, I am Rooting many positive vibes for You ^w^

ah F i said that because i like some of the palettes and in the code of this mod there is some other palettes that dont work here and you go from the 7 one to the 9 one that is weird and idk there is also a spike g1 mod that as a lot of palettes but is fine i guess you made the mod but i think i gonna tried to do this at least for my pc xd (#timetousevisualcodestudio.exe) anyways thanks for making the mod

The reason not every palette swap is included is for consistency reasons with my previously released Velvet. Velvet had too many palettes for Rivals to handle (as Rivals has a maximum of 32 alts) and I decided to exclude Pop Culture reference palettes because of that, and although some other TFH characters don’t have too many palettes for Rivals, I’m keeping that decision consistent.
