bosses are fine
instead of locking all merges to post ML, scatter them throughout
its like a book with one really good part but without any foreshadowing or hints scattered throughout, and only the end is the good part and not the start
and by the start gosh the start is gruelling for the first few hours
ex.: shadewood and ebonwood enchantments can be fused together once you get like, hellforge or tinkerer workshop
have enchantments that synergize with each other be able to be merged earlier on, and put them together later on
i am no game design specialist and i might just be some random person on the internet, but still, slowly progressing and seeing your items fuse together over time feels more satisfying than seeing that one "haha you need post ML to fuse everything you've culminated so far haha"
TLDR: dont make a zenith progression, make a terra blade progression
This workshop mod appears to be the Luminance requirement in question. I added it and it showed next to it that fargo's souls and music mods required it.
