1:1 RMS Titanic (BROKEN UNTIL FIXED)

Description
***WARNING INFINITE ELECTRIC REQUIRED***

The RMS Titanic was a British passenger liner built between 1909 to 1912 by Harland and Wolff in Belfast, Ireland. Titanic would become the 2nd ship of the Olympic Class fleet with a 3rd ship under construction. After she was completed and certified, she would be given to the White Star Line to begin her passenger service for the Southampton to New York route. She began her maiden voyage on April 10, 1912 departing from Southampton, England. During the evening of the same day, she would arrive in Cherbourg, France where passengers either boarded or disembarked. Towards noon on the next day on April 11, 1912, she would arrive in Queenstown, Ireland, her last port of call before New York. At 11:40 PM on April 14, 1912, Titanic would strike an iceberg, breaching her first 6 watertight compartments which included the Forepeak Tank, Cargo Holds 1, 2, and 3, Boiler Room 6, and 2 feet into the coal bunker of Boiler Room 5. After inspecting the damage and concluding her inevitable demise, lifeboats would be prepared and launched, and distress calls would be sent. Unfortunately, the closest ships were stopped for the night as they were blocked in and surrounded by ice. The closest ship that responded would be known as the RMS Carpathia which was several hours away from Titanic. At 2:17 AM on April 15, 1912, the Titanic’s hull unexpectedly fractured, causing the ship’s Stern to tear apart from the Bow. At 2:20 AM, Titanic’s Stern would finally plunge beneath the waves, throwing desperate passengers and crew into the frigid Atlantic Waters. Of the 2,208 total passengers, 1,496 would perish with 712 individuals surviving Titanic’s tragic end.

Introducing a 1:1 Scale authentic recreation of the RMS Titanic after over a year since I initially began construction in February of 2021. A lot of research, building, and consulting has gone into this build. This Stormworks Recreation is a new 1:1 Scale Titanic that allows users to explore some of her interior and to experience an authentic sinking with dynamic flooding. This recreation utilizes several methods of optimization to increase performance. This build seems to be able to be run in multiplayer once again after the Multiplayer Optimization Update.

When loading the Mission, there are two options for spawning. You can choose if you want to spawn a save that contains an Iceberg. The Iceberg is prone to be updated sometime in the future with an improved one. Spawning the Save with the Iceberg may cause additional lag so it is preferred to spawn the one without the Iceberg if you just wish to experience the Sinking in an optimized way. As a disclaimer, from personal experience, when you wish to Spawn or Respawn the Ship, I found it is best to restart the Game. Doing so improves performance for me as when I try to spawn the Ship for a second time without restarting the Game, it will spawn much more laggy than the first time.

***PREFERRED PHYSICS SETTINGS***
For the Physics Detail preference in the settings, it is recommended to use Low Physics Detail. Some users may still encounter some lag which is inevitable considering the scale of the build but it is much more optimized than my first Stormworks Titanic that was released back in 2020. From testing, Performance seems to be based on a combination of a good amount of Ram and a decent Graphics Card. The more Ram there is, the more processing power there is for the Physics of Stormworks which allows larger Creations to run with less Moon Physics.

For increased performance, the only Lifeboats that can be launched are the Cutter Lifeboats that are already swung out, and Collapsible Lifeboats A and B on top of the Officer’s Quarters.

***SPAWN LOCATION***
The Ship spawns at the Large Oil Rig like most builds. Make sure the Ocean is deep enough to properly sink the ship. A recommended seed for an Isolated Large Oil Rig in Deep Oceans is 30000.

***SAILING***
The startup procedure is as simple as pushing a Lever. Head up to the Bridge and locate the Starboard Engine Telegraph with the Throttle Lever located below it and throttle it up. The ship will begin moving after accelerating the Throttle.

***STEERING***
To steer the ship, the Helm inside the Wheelhouse on the Bridge is the only functional Helm that steers the Ship. The Controls to activate both Interior and Exterior Lights are located on this Helm. The Helm located next to the Telegraphs is not functional.

***SINKING***
To activate the Sinking, throttle the horizontal lever located forward of the Bridge. After engaging the Sinking, the Ship will automatically stop its engines and drift to a Stop.

***PROPULSION***
The propulsion system is designed in a way to allow the ship to move at set speeds based on what the “Telegraph” is set to instead of the Lever acting as a “Pedal.” Setting the Throttle Lever to a number greater than 0 and less than or equal to 0.25 initiates “Dead Slow.” Anything greater than 0.25 or less than or equal to 0.5 initiates “Slow.” Anything greater than 0.5 and less than or equal to 0.75 initiates “Half.” Anything greater than 0.75 will activate “Full.” The movement of the Ship has been designed to recreate a sense of "momentum." Even when stopping the Engines, the Ship will drift forward for a distance before stopping instead of immediately slowing down after throttling down.
