Description
"The Mercury-Class Mobile Assault Base/Carrier, or Mercury Mk.II for simplicity, is a heavily weaponized variant of the original Mercury-class. The hull has been expanded, allowing additional weapon pods on each side of the vehicle for the additional firepower. The armament itself has been replaced with long range artillery, mid-range autocannons, as well as a dual railgun turret that's replaced the crane of the original. The center of the ship now has a larger hangar bay for troop transport, as well as the original hangars for strike craft. The rear hangar/garage has been widened to fit the Lares troop transport, as the original struggled to. The interior rooms have been remodeled completely, in both design and positioning compared to the original, including the storage bay, which is seemingly larger than the rest. Due to it's massive sizing, the Mercury Mk.II was left lightly armored, a decision which left most feeling great concern towards it's reliability in combat. Nevertheless, countless testing has proved that while the vehicle will take a beating, the Mercury will come on top of the opposition. Howdy everybody, Captain Ray here for another variant of the original Mercury Mobile Base/Carrier. While I originally was going to make this a replacement to the first one, I liked the idea of it being used as a salvage vessel. Still wanting to use the massive crane, but too lazy to fix the issues inside the original, like overusing conveyor blocks v.s. conveyor tubing (as I now know that causes issues with the game). There was some other issues I didn't like, despite it being my favorite build, that I tried to patch up with this new design. One thing I did mess around with was the tire settings (power, friction, steering angle, etc.). It may not be perfect, but I'm still learning when I have free time (despite having 761hrs a/o 06/21/22, most of which being survival building ground bases and projecting other blueprints avoiding building anything myself.........).

IMPORTANT STUFF:
" PRETTY MUCH ALL DLC IS NEEDED FOR THIS VEHICLE, I USED A LOT OF DIFFERENT BLOCKS
"FOR RIGHT NOW, the middle hangar is considered 'unfinished' due to sizing issues with hangar doors. I wasn't sure what to do, since I had finished nearly all the interior designing when I realized there's a gap. Your most likely going to have to either add the hangar door mod with multiple sizes, or modify the Mercury afterwards. Hopefully they'll add larger hangar door sizes in the future.
" Weapons are all vanilla
" Railgun and Garage ramp won't appear when projected so you'll have to build those afterwards.
'Garage ramp is 4x11 blast doors connected to the rotor.
