Description
So you killed the Jester last round? Well, this is your punishment!

When a player kills the Jester, the next round they will spawn as a Dunce. Everyone is aware of who the Dunce is. The Dunce is on their own team, though the Innocents do not need to kill them to win (but they can if they wish!). As a Dunce, you cannot deal damage, nor pick up weapons. This is a punishment for killing the Jester - spend the round thinking about what you've done.
Perhaps you can still steal a win if everyone else manages to get themselves killed. Then you will have the last laugh!




Normal Role Convars (also found in ULX):
# enable or disable this role ttt_dunce_enabled [0/1] (default: 1)
The Dunce does not spawn naturally, so you cannot adjust the percentage / probability of this role spawning.

Rolespecific Convars:
# should the dunce be given a cap ttt2_dunce_cap [0/1] (default: 1) # should the dunce be prevented from picking up weapons ttt2_dunce_prevent_weapons [0/1] (default: 1) # should the dunce keep their magneto stick ttt2_dunce_keep_magneto [0/1] (default: 1) # should the dunce be able to carry entities with their magneto stick ttt2_dunce_magneto_carry [0/1] (default: 1) # should the dunce keep their crowbar ttt2_dunce_keep_crowbar [0/1] (default: 1) # should the dunce be able to push other players with their crowbar ttt2_dunce_crowbar_push [0/1] (default: 1)

Does this trigger for other Jester-like roles? i.e. the swapper?

This is a hidden gem. I've been having fun with this role for a few weeks. It's been extra fun after we made a custom Dunce shop full of useless joke weapons. Some people in my group still find it's too harsh a punishment.

Would it be possible to add a convar that lets the Dunce respawn like the Beggar role does when killed? I think it could need a configurable respawn time to reduce griefing. Maybe it could increase with each death?

Incredible, I've always wanted recognition for my acomplishment
