I've been waiting for the blueprint of this wonder for some time, thank you very much!
I take back what I said last week that the output capabilities would be more than a single player would need, I found a way to make use of this ship before it was even built haha.
Used G493kL to harvest resources and process them while building more refineries and assemblers on this barge, speeding up the construction.
With refinery speed being 3x on the server, this ship is perfect even for one person, if you want to get lots of resources.
A barge with 4x the devices of this one is in the development for playing with realistic settings or lots of people.
Smaller H2 barges are being worked on too.
I will say for anyone planning to build it without using a ship printer as I did, you might have a tough time finding some of the straight rails used on the underside of staircases but overall this was actually a relatively simple build.
Really the only thing I'd want is a slightly scaled down version of this same ship because I love the aesthetics and functionality of it so much as they are in this design, but I just don't see myself being able to make use of all the refineries or assemblers in solo survival even if I tried lol
Making a dedicated H2 processing ship might be useful too.
The reason I decided to not include H2 production on this ship is the PCU cost, it does have one O2/H2 generator and small H2 tank, which should be fine for refueling small-sized small grids.
In terms of timers and programmable blocks, there's plenty of space for them under the landing pads, could be placed near the gyroscopes on the jump drives for example.
In terms of interior more of it definitely would be nice, but for this ship the current amount is fitting accounting for it being a minimalistic barge.
When I get around to making a large grid exploration ship or a trading station, they will have more interior space.
Thanks for the feedback!
But then I get to thinking that I also wouldn't mind having more hydrogen capacity and functionality to be able to refuel all of my smaller hydrogen ships, expanded interior quarters, some room for Programmable Blocks... and it starts becoming a completely different ship, no longer just some minor retrofitting or scaling down on production. Either way, I'm loving your new ships and the design aesthetics and can't wait to see more from this series!
