Farlink | Combat Data-Link System

Descripción
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Introduction
Farlink is a combat datalink system based off VTOL VR's F-45 datalink system (visual update coming later).

Features
- Infinite Paintable Targets
You can infinitely lock and scan targets for Farlink to paint onto the datalink.

- Lock Any Painted Target
Any target painted in the datalink you can lock onto.
To lock a painted target you must touch a target.

- Inspect Allies & Targets
Allows you to inspect Targets & Allies by touching them.

- Paint Targets For Allies
If you have a radar and an radar to xyz, which then allows you to paint targets for friendlies.
Requirements for this feature to work are:
An old radar setup (provided on example vehicle)
Target coordinates and mass output on channel 1,X | 2,Y | 3,Z | 4,Mass

How to use
Required blocks
1x Antenna (huge or large size is preferred)
1x GPS Sensor
1x Altimeter
1x Monitor (for visual and interaction)

@282 Industries,
How can me and my friends use different frequencies when fighting each other so we can be on separate teams and not all seen as friendly?

A: Change the frequency on the microcontroller, should be called "Change Frequency".

Additionally how do you "paint" the target as i can't seem to be able to?

A: To be able to paint targets you need an old radar setup, there is an example on how it is setup on the example vehicle.

I would have to add a property to turn it on and off, I'll see if I can add that today.

Alright, thanks for responding, is there anyway to preserve the altitude function without using the auto-zoom? I'm fairly comfortable with Lua, but since the code is minified I'm having trouble reading it.

Yes, it shares your altitude with your friendlies it's also used in range estimation, see the picture at the top.

Is altitude used for anything other than map zoom?

It's not possible at the current moment, since I can't differentiate between targets without having mass and to calculate mass I need old radars. I may attempt to make another way to differentiate with out using mass.
