1x2 Configurable Engine Monitor

Description

1x2 Configurable Engine Monitor

Thank you all for weekly top 1!
(for a bit xD)

FEATURES
  • For use with 1x2 monitors
  • Configurable engine revolution units (RPS/RPM)
  • Configurable engine temperature units (˚C/˚F)
  • Configurable maximum fuel capacity
  • Configurable fuel consumption units (L/s, L/m, G/s, and G/m)
  • Configurable fuel consumption calculation period
  • Configurable low fuel and engine overheat warning thresholds
  • Displays whether the engine is off, starting, or running

HOW TO USE
  • Connect all logic nodes
  • If using an ECU, the starter and throttle nodes should be connected to the ECU's output, and ideally to the air manifold if using modular engines
  • Configure using the microcontroller properties
  • Maximum fuel must be input in properties in liters, regardless of the selected fuel consumption unit
  • If using infinite fuel, enable the option in properties to allow the engine run indicator to function properly (if not using infinite fuel disable this for a more accurate readout based on fuel consumption)

MORE INFO
  • Fuel consumption calculation period controls how frequently fuel consumption is calculated and updated on the monitor, so if you don't know what to set it to 5 seconds is a good starting point
  • Feel free to use this in your creations, but please link back to this page if you upload them, and avoid editing the Lua
  • Feedback is appreciated - please report any problems in the comments
  • Feel free to leave a like if you enjoy using it

Found it very hard to find stuff like this for 1x2. Thank you for the well documented microcontroller.

It has never shown up in my microcontroler selections. Anybody know why??

This is brilliant thankyou. Quick question: I've got 8 of these in a control room and wanted to change the title of each screen to match the engine it's connected to but i can not for the life of me find where the "ENGINE STATUS" line on the top of the monitor comes from in the LUA?! I just wanted each monitor to display "ENGINE1 STATUS", "ENGINE2 STATUS" etc....
