TerraPumps

Description
Adds a series of new pumps that terraform the land around it over time, in a similar fashion to the vanilla moisture pump.

Fill in those pesky deep-water lakes! Make an impassable moat! Fertilize your soil ;)! ...And more!

Update (April 20, 2024)
- Updated to 1.5
- Retextured all pumps (including vanilla)
- Old textures remain in mod's texture folder

I was minding my own business, fortifying my megabase, when I encountered a deep lake. Instead of building around it, I set about developing a technology to surpass vanilla moisture pumps. The resulting series of pumps allows for greater terrain control; just as how the vanilla moisture pump "dries" the land, so too do my TerraPumps affect the land around them, in markedly-diverse ways. Their exact functionalities are documented below:

Reverse Moisture Pump
  • Radius: 6.9 in 60 days
  • Extra Ingredients: None
  • Power Consumption: 150
  • Research Prereq.: Moisture Pumps
An inversion of the standard moisture pump. Concentrates moisture on the surface of surrounding terrain, pooling water in shallow bodies.

Fertilizer Pump
  • Radius: 6.9 in 60 days
  • Extra Ingredients: 200x Chemfuel
  • Power Consumption: 200
  • Research Prereq.: Soil Pumps
Distributes chemfuel fertilizer around surrounding soils, raising fertility to the max!

Jack Hammer Pump
  • Radius: 6.9 in 60 days
  • Extra Ingredients: None
  • Power Consumption: 200
  • Research Prereq.: Soil Pumps
Shakes apart stone terrain, yielding a stony, barely-growable soil.

Table-Raiser Moisture Pump
  • Radius: 4.9 in 50 days
  • Extra Ingredients: 1x Advanced Component
  • Power Consumption: 300
  • Research Prereq.: Deep Ground Pumps
Raises the water table of the surrounding terrain, deepening any pre-existing bodies of water.

Bed-Raiser Moisture Pump
  • Radius: 4.9 in 50 days
  • Extra Ingredients: 1x Advanced Component
  • Power Consumption: 300
  • Research Prereq.: Deep Ground Pumps
Raises the lake/sea-bed of any surrounding deep water bodies, making them shallow.

Q: Do I need any of the DLC or mod frameworks?
A: Nope!

Q: I have a bug! What do I do?
A: Tell me the bug in the comments below (for now). If you have a ton of active mods don't expect me to be able to do much!

cross mod compatibility with dubs hygiene for fertilizer would honestly be fantastic

*face palm*
apologies, completely forgot this mod worked that way

@Noisy Koi, That's frustrating! Sorry to hear that. Are you using any mods that change the architect menu? Pumps are all found in a dropdown as one entry in the Misc tab. You could try unsubscribing and resubscribing. Otherwise I'd also suggest you try to reproduce your issue in a new save, to verify it is not a problem with that particular save.

Idk what's up but the pumps aren't showing up in the architect menu, I researched the tech but I can't find any of the pumps anywhere in the architect menu

@kongkim 1.5 update is planned to release soon

Will you update it to 1.5? :)

I found that the pumps do not work on the glacier. After all, there is not earth or stone, but ice, will the ability to terraform ice be added?

If you ever get around to 1.4, having the ability to equally restore terrain (Although I'm sure terrain data isn't saved) back to Granite, limestone, etc, would be equally nice.

Gotta say as compared to other terraforming mods this is definitely one of my favorites.
