Description
My take on the Special Forces Tie Fighter from Star Wars

The goal of this design was to translate the Special Forces Tie Fighter from Star Wars within the realm and limitations of vanilla Space Engineers.

This is part of an ongoing series I'll be doing, feel free to check out the rest of the collection through the link and let me know what you think.

My own take on it and premise behind the design, if you care...
The Tie Special Forces variant represents an initiative to create a Tie Fighter that is more on par with its contemporary fighters. The Tie SF boasts a rocket launcher and an auto-turret over the regular Tie Fighter as well as a slight increase in storage capacity to support this new armament, an upgraded communications array, and has been up-armored (for a Tie Fighter). These Ties are typically given to special forces units and other important personnel where they are generally used to improve the over all capabilities of an attack group or perform special assignments.

* Entrance is through a small hole in the back. To make the cockpit oxygenated you have to do a quick double click on the door and then the control seat *

This is an awesome build! Would love to see you take on crafting a Tie Silencer

yeah, something on steam makes x blueprints and mods not appear, and the only current fix is to unsub until your needed mods show up, I've had to unsub 3/4ths of what I had subbed to priorly to get the mods I needed to show up, or the blueprints

idk what would cause it to happen tho

I re-uploaded it, I think its something on steam's end though because the tie fighter didn't show up for me either for a day or so and I'm the one who uploaded it... :steamfacepalm: same thing is happening with this blueprint now as well.

i cant find this one in game either, the other tie is fixed tho

not really, this one has missles, which makes it more expensive in resources to make AND utilize, so actually this one would be sparingly used compared to the other one, which could probs be spammed out easily enough

Yea it’s like the description says, very minimal changes. I changed some armor blocks around to make it appear a little bulkier add some detail but it’s about exactly the same. Kind of makes the regular tie fighter obsolete.

You know I thought they would be easier too after the first one but after playing around with the interceptor and the bomber I have found they are still quite hard
