Description
DXCT G40B - Donkk Sawyer & Arctic Lines #4028

DXC Transportation G40B is a diesel-electric roadswitcher locomotive built by DXCT in its locomotive works in Camodo. The locomotive is powered by a 6-cylinder DXCT MDI6 prime mover producing 3000 hp. the locomotive designation stands for:

G - General use locomotive
40 - Series 40
B - Bo-Bo wheel configuration

The locomotive is capable of 140 km/h top speed and holds 15700 liters of diesel fuel, and it is equipped for multiple unit operation.

Starting instruction:
  1. Enter the cab, open the breaker box and switch all switches to ON.
  2. Open the doors on the right side of the engine compartment, right behind the rear door cab.
  3. Press and hold the engine start button until the engine reaches 2 RPS.
  4. After the engines are running, reenter the cab and wait for brake pressure to reach >480.
  5. Switch the reverser to the desired direction and open the throttle to move.
  6. To shut off the engine, press the engine shutoff button next to the starter button.

This locomotive was uploaded as submission for the Yard Switcher Competition held by the EOS server.

Please read the starting instruction carefully as to not miss anything.

I will consider adding them in the next iteration, along with a new braking system and new truck design.

I love the locomotive creation personaly very much. I´d love to use it more to haul cargo if there would be some things added that are currently missing, or perhaps I missed them.
I couldn´t find any gear to fix the loco nor could I find anything to extinguish fires. Perhaps some medical equipment would be good on the locomotive too in case of an injury by whatever reason. These are just suggestions but all in all this is an awesome creation! Good work! :steamhappy:

nice train , but why does it automaticly break when it gets to fast sometimes
tryed to drive with it to the arctic and had to drive with the independent break set to at least 0.16 otherwise it would automaticly stop itself as soon it gets over 90-100km/h
