Description
Unlike virtually every other vessel from Barcella Alpha Shipyards, the Claymore class cruiser was designed to operate entirely in the extremes of space. As a result, what she lacks in agility and atmospheric flexibility, she gains in raw number of guns and overlapping fields of fire. Intended to face front towards enemy, the main body of the vessel is partially hidden by a fully detachable, and self-powered, heavy armor shield bristling with guns.

Her firepower consists of 6 Artillery turrets, 16 Assault Cannon turrets, 8 Gatling turrets, and 16 Interior turrets for point defense. She also has an additional 8 fixed Artillery Cannons. The Claymore's hull proper is mixed light and heavy configuration, with gyroscopic protection below the skin in many areas. A high-contrast self-repair projector can be used to more easily repair the vessel. There is also both a primary CIC that houses the main control seat, gunnery station, and operations station, as well as a secondary emergency control station in the engine room.

For utility and self-sufficiency, the Claymore class is equipped with a full sized refinery and four assemblers. She also has a small cargo hangar on her "ventral" facing. Landing legs extend from her rear, and though she has enough thrust to barely handle 1g, in an atmospheric environment she can only safely land in 0.5g. To aid in landing, a remote control block can be accessed for landing procedures which conveniently reorients the thruster controls for ease of approach. Four jump drives gives the vessel a respectable jump range, as well. Crew accommodations are provided in the form of four fully independent bedrooms with attached bathrooms, four cryotubes, two survival kits, and a mess hall. All internally accessible spaces are fully oxygenated and survival ready.

Thrust is divided between Ion and Hydrogen thrusters. A single large reactor is supported by four small reactors, 14 batteries, and a pair of backup Hydrogen Engines. On board scripts include a damage display, RADAR system, functional LCD, automatic doors, and an improved artificial horizon.

Significantly improved thrust in all directions except reverse, especially forward thrust. Added a few more gyros, and redetailed the engine pods to make them less plain looking.

And another binding issue in the programming discovered and fixed. Also redistributed the ammo across the ship so it isn't all in the large cargo bay.

Added a ladder to the first set of transit shafts to the habitation deck, as the character was not dismounting at that level.
