Presenting the Altera Trade Cruiser, the latest build from Filbert Shipyards!

The Altera Trade Cruiser was built for Xcaliber's Anvil Designers Challenge May 2022 'Deploy-able Trade Ships'

The Altera is a combination trade ship, built to first search the galaxy for rare and bulk trading commodities and then to come to a communal place to trade them with other players! The 'Trade mode' switch in the P menu transforms this trade ship into a storefront by sealing off the bridge and engineering areas while opening up the top hatches and activating the overhead advertisement banner LCD!

While this ship was built with the Anvil Reforged EDEN S4' exclusive trade zone setup in mind (can be accessed from anywhere instantly), it will also work on other MP RE 1.7 servers. Collect your trade goods and then take them to any communal area for other players to browse. Use the corresponding LCDs to describe the contents of each trade box and then change the entry LCD to display your own discord name. If a player comes to your parked ship and wants to buy something just send them the lock code you set for that box and voila! This means you can have a store with passive trading facilitated though discord!!

As a bonus if you park in a safe space (like a sun) you can shut off the thrusters, shield and weapons and the ship will sit idle without burning fuel so it can be left indefinitely as a storefront!
