Description


This package contains ARM scripts engine.

ARM - army recruitment mechanics, this tools of new game mechanics that I will develop in other ARM series mods.

This mod implements three mechanic:
  • ARM upgrade technology by buildings level
  • ARM upgrade technology by experience level
  • ARM technology for dismount cavalry

ARM upgrade technology by buildings level
This allows update your army units as new buildings develop and build.
Technology available for player and AI.

For example:
In the company of Kislev, you built "Construction Halls" (tier 4), now your can upgrade "Light War Sleds" to "Heavy War Sleds", paying only the difference in price and preserving the current experience of the detachment.

ARM upgrade technology by experience level
Gives additional skills and abilities to squads with experience growth.
Technology available for player and AI.
An additional mod is required (see the list of mods below)

ARM technology for dismount cavalry
Allows dismount cavalry units of your army in campaign mode.
An additional mod is required (see the list of mods below)

Compatible with Mixu Legendary Lord
All Elector Counts from Mixu mod can upgrade Elector Count regimets his province after 4 experience level.
As Example:
  • Aldebrand Ludenhof upgrade "Handganners" to "Gunderman's Surefires".
  • Marius Leitdorf upgrade "Pistoliers" to "The Noble Sons Abroad".
  • Karl Franz upgrade "Greatswords" to "Carroburg Greatswords"
and etc.

thaks for making this. But after upgrading high elf units from archers to armoured archers on the campaign map, when I get to deployment in a battle, they are just unarmoured archers again. Not sure if a bug or a conflict with another mod, or with some high elf mechanic

Is there a "limited" or "lore friendly" option? Because for example Black Knights should never be upgraded into Blood Knights. Or Skavenslaves into Nightrunners.

What races are and are not affected by this? For example in a Drycha campaign can the dryad/treemen units use this?

В моде ALM другая логика, там проверка производится при найме отряда, набираются самые сильные отряды из возможных с учётом апгрейда, автоматический апгрейд существующих отрядов не производится. Так как задача мода ALM соблюдать установленные лимиты набора, тем самым не давая ИИ создавать Doom Stack армии.

Установил мод по ссылке + сабмод ванилла, настроил ограничения, а также снял их с некоторых юнитов. Но сыграл некоторое количество ходов и не увидел, чтобы ИИ юзал механику апгрейда отрядов. Катарина как бегала с обычными коссарами, так и бегает, хотя имеет возможность их улучшить. То же самое с имперцами... При установке мода с этой страницы, сразу вижу, что союзники на следующий же ход проводят апгрейд армии, а с модом по ссылке такого не наблюдаю. Разные параметры выставлял, но итог один и тот же:(

Шикарный мод, который помогает ИИ использовать отряды высокого уровня, делая игру гораздо интереснее. Но в какой-то момент начинает крашить игру. Очень обидно:( Надеюсь на апдейт...
