HMS Exeter | F289 ( DLC + scripts + subgrids)

Description
Summary

The Type 34 frigate was developed with a specific but broad purpose in mind: That of being a combatant agile and long-ranged enough to perform hit-and-run tactics on larger targets, but also with precise enough weapons to be a threat to even the smallest of drones and fighters.
This is achieved through plentiful thrust in most directions, and weapons with high projectile speeds, in particular from the mounted railgun and point defense gatling turrets.
Much of what was learned in the development of the Ibex MkII light corvette was applied in the Type 34.

Technology

Supplementing this firepower is an experimental script, SMRTARS, which dynamically selects lower and upper limits for non-prefab turrets which use rotors and hinges, based on their angles at a given time. This maximises the amount of angles that a clear shot on a target can be made, while keeping the chance of friendly fire minimal.
The rest of the scripts are provided by whiplash141 and this includes TCES, WHAM, LAMP and their salvo script. HMS Exeter would be of poor effectiveness without these.
That's right - this ship also includes a single homing missile tube which is preloaded to fire a hydrogen thrust-powered missile. The missiles are best used for sniping at up to 5km range, as harsh acceleration and turning can prevent them from escaping the missile tube.

Systems Overview

Check the screenshots for one which covers all the actions of the main control seat toolbars.
Interior includes: a large airlock, a conference room, a combat information centre and bridge which can both seat two, two heads, and some living space with kitchen, beds, seating and shower.

Closing words

I've been holding off on releasing this for a while because I wanted to get so much of the little details and polish on this just right. So much so that I went and made a script for this ship just to handle getting maximum angles out of custom turrets while avoiding friendly fire. I may release that separately but if you can figure out how it works before then, then you can use it on your own ships (just don't claim it's your own work).
I also made some pixel art to accompany the custom turret controller displays in CIC and the one in the living space, all just for fun.
Big thanks to Whip for the scripts and for helping me figure out why the homing missile wasn't working, and to MMaster for the auto LCDs script. Thanks also to the people that with malicious intent or not, helped me to test out the ship in combat.
