FMI Real Club Names 2022

Description
The FMInside Real Club name fix will change the fake club names in Football Manager 2022 to their real life names. This file will change the long name, short name, three letter name and nicknames of thousands of clubs in Football Manager 2022.

IMPORTANT - To use this file a new save game is needed. This will NOT work in an existing save!
FMI Data Packs

Install instructions for real Japanese club names

For the Japanese names to work properly you will have to delete some files in the database folder of Football Manager. Look for:

Windows:
\Steam\steamapps\common\Football Manager 2022\data\database\db\22xx\lnc\all

MAC OS:
/ Users / username / Library / Application Support / Steam / SteamApps / common / Football Manager 20xx / data / database / db / 20xx / lnc / all

Delete the following file to fix fake Japanese names:
nleague

And while you are at it, make sure to delete the fake.lnc to activate Germany, Japan and Holland as playable nations...

FMI Update Packs

The FMI Real club name is part of the FMI Update pack, which includes a transfer update, real league name fix and a media pack. All FMI Data Packs will be added to the FMI Update on each release but can also be downloaded seperately if you only want to use one or some of our files.

@BilbaoBaggins - You are correct! To have these fixed you have to delete the following file in your database folder: nleague

Trying this with Japanese clubs and still getting the, for example, "Okayama FC" instead of Kashima Antlers

@samstancov99 - Look for the FMI Update for transfers, Marsch and Chelsea owners will be added in version 22.8.

Logos and kits can be found on our website, these can't be added to an update or uploaded to steam.
