Description
Supports version 3.7.*
Description:
This mod aims to upscale the stars, planets, and all celestial bodies in the vanilla game along with the DLCs. This also in turn enlarges travel time required by ships and reduces the engagement ranges for ship battles.

This only supports vanilla and DLC Asteroids, Planets, Stars and Megastructures.

Features:
- Upscaled Star and Planets
- Upscaled Megastructures
- Upscaled Nebula
- Slower Travel Time
- Smaller Fleet Engagement Range (So ships won't fight across the star system)
- (For Developers) Ringworlds and Megastructure entities are separated to its own .asset files for easier readability and better overwriting capabilities.
- (For Developers) has_landmass_mod trigger to check if mod is active

Important Usage Notes:
- Many mods have a soft incompatibility with this mod. Any mod that adds new planets/stars/megastructures will not scale properly.
- I cannot support every single 3rd party mod that this mod might be incompatible with. I will release and update compatibility patches for the ones I personally use but otherwise you will have to do it for yourself or find someone else to do it for you.

Disclaimer:
- Screenshots uses Miniatures to further emphasize the scaling

Mod Order:
- Landmass
- Any other mods
- Landmass patch mods

Compatibility Patches:
- Planetary Diversity
- Guilli's Planetary Modifiers and Features
- More Events Mod

Future Plans:
- Further adjustments to scaling
- Integration to my other personal mods for my own mod list
- Integration to my other mods in my own mod list

Known Issue:
- Fleets will clip into the star when flying "over" it. This cannot be fixed without breaking other visuals in game. This is a modding limitation because of how Stellaris works.
- Colossus won't be perfectly centered above planets its cracking. It will be slightly offset. This is a vanilla game issue that is only visible now due to the significantly different scales we are now working with.
- Flickering may happen at certain camera angles as models are put to their limits and any odd clipping from vanilla models are simply amplified by the new scales.

FAQ:
Q: Whats the difference between this and your older scale mod?
A: The difference is this is a more stripped down version of my other scale mod. This only focuses on vanilla and DLC content. Besides that, it also changes ship behavior and the travel time for ships.

Q: Will you rescale XYZ?
A: You can do it yourself. I have put variables on top of each .asset file so you can easily switch values for things. Megastructures changed are Ringworlds, Dyson Spheres and Matter Decompressors. You can change the values for those on their own .asset file.

Q: Real Space? Gigastructures? Some other megastructure or planet/star mod?
A: Currently, I only plan to support my own mods and mods that I will be using personally.

Q: What other mods do you plan to do?
A: Please refer to my Galactic Resonance Collection for any planned mods and current progress.

I have the low quality planet textures problem too. Please is there a way to fix it?

Is it normal for planets to look very... Low quality and have their textures stretched so badly that they leave black marks and twisting of textures on planets?

For anyone else who wants this kind of solution to the slow ship speed issue, I updated the 5x Sublight Speed mod: https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2986490083

Combined with Landmass/Miniatures you get an overall speed that's ~20% slower than vanilla in terms of times to survey a system. I think this also helps the AI somewhat because it makes vanilla-ish assumptions about how long things take be broadly accurate.

if the ships could be sped up or have range increased by 30% I think it would work well. it would still be a significant slowdown, but not quite as arduous, and would still look sensible.
I have no idea how to do this, and no idea how it would affect other mods like ESC, but if anyone else does it would be great if we had an addon like that.

Big W mod.... But the Slow Ships Speed is very sad :(

I like this one, its a very good scale and doesn't crash my game, however I cant really use it until there are more compatibility patches for things like Extra Ship Components, or different patches for speed and engagement range like real space ship scaling. ~ having my fleet chase another fleet around the same system for 400 days sometimes is a bit much.

This looks great very nice can finally get rid of a certain space mod.

I think increase the system scale to 300 will look more sensible. But the camera shakes when I zoom in or out. That's wierd, any solutions?
