Description
A longer range patrol and escort option, the Holt Destroyer is built for engaging all ranges of targets. Armed with artillery turrets, AA turrets, torpedo launchers, a depth charge deployment system, and a long range missile launcher, the Holt is able to cover all offensive and defensive needs.

3 Artillery Main Batteries

2 AA Turrets

3 Gatling Turrets

2 Torpedo Launchers

1 LRM Launch Tube

1 Depth Charge Deployment Rack

8 Man crew for full combat effectiveness

The LRM will not fire if the tube hatch is closed
Main cockpit has contol of the aiming. Locking onto a target will enable turret lock from up to 2km away
Button 1 on hot bar 1 will fire the rocket. Button 2 cycles lock type
LRM can be fired while on the move

is it just me or is everyone else having problems with this thing not staying afloat. mine just want to tip over

Sounds good. Thank you for the information. I've been building ships with only a few custom turrets and have ceased using the M.A.R.T script since Keen added the custom turret controller.

weapon placments can be set to be randomised or not via MES however in alot of cases for aesthetics and balance what the creator intended would be the best as most people build with a balance of range, DPS and point defence and MES doesnt really get that concept at times when randomising turrets

in regards to mart turrets and turret controllers,

i beleive they work without issue and prefabs will spawn with any subgrids attached and operating as orginally configured but its allways best to try and use as little as possible because every single mart turret will increase that specific grids performance cost

however a few missle boats with PMW's could be awesome and a few rotor grid deck guns would go quite well

@BlueKat, also a question, can you spawn ships with turrets made form blocks and controlled by the custom turret controller?

@BluKat, I hope you realize that any chonky battleship in your mod is gonna get met with bombing it :D

@BluKat, I can do more variations of the smaller stuff too. To get some clarification, do you mean same ships armed with different turrets for the variations, or do you mean different looks of the ships but with the same basic loadout?

Thats absolutly brilliant!

We'll go through yours this afternoon and add them to the spawner

If you did want to help however we realistlcly need a bit of variations for small boats, patrol boats, frigates and some really chonky battleships

yikes, high quality models as pirate ships, that's a scary thought :D now I'm gonna have to make edits to outstrip the already amazing stock variants, this'll be fun
