[TC] - 'Sobek' Class War Cruiser

The Sobek Class is long in the tooth now, for over 75 years this class has served through Earth's interstellar conflicts through multiple refits and redesigns.

The Sobek excels as a heavy command cruiser for battlegroups, as the main "brute force" measure for battles against Earth's enemies. With strong offensive and defensive systems, it is well capable of giving and taking damage from craft much larger than itself. With a built-in hangar bay, it can launch a full squadron of attack craft to support itself in combat.

Its main weapons provide devastating firepower for its size, giving it a distinct advantage over similarly sized vessels, and while the asymmetrical weapon configuration may not make sense at first, its advantages well outweigh the disadvantages.
