Beat the storm my first attempt, and I credit that to luck and this guide.
I absolutely HATE the ringworms. I despise them so much for being completely useless aside from clearing campfires with zero attack and 1HP while giving enemies (BIRDS ESPECIALLY) attack boosts, but even then I've had several runs where I have to waste a power fire killing them, only to get nothing but healing fires between that and the first boss, meaning my MG can take a hit, but is useless at dishing, so what's the point. Meanwhile I'll keep topdecking the other useless ringworm, because there are so few opportunities to actually transfer good sigils where they're needed.
