Description
My take on the Delta-7 Class light interceptor from Star Wars

The goal of this design was to translate the Delta-7 from Star Wars within the realm and limitations of vanilla Space Engineers.

This is part of an ongoing series I'll be doing, feel free to check out the rest of the collection through the link and let me know what you think.

General Space Engineers Fleet role: A super fast and cheap all atmospheres fighter. Not very durable, but can duck and weave like a champ.

My own take on it and premise behind the design, if you care...
A hyper fast interceptor built to dominate in dog-fighting. The delta-7 is incredibly small and agile and requires near super-human ability to fly to its full potential.

just a thought for a "optional" build to add to this... maybe make the fighters have the Hyperspace Rings?

I know the feeling of being too close to your work, it's hard to appreciate your own work sometimes because you've built it and torn it apart hundreds of times already, and you can always find something that could be better. But the cool thing was that when I was going about figuring out my paint job, I tried primarily to work with the shapes and style you already made because it was so good already. Aside from the 12x Small Cargo for ammo, it had zero cargo capacity originally lol.

Would it be alright if I polish up my Delta 7 paint job to publish with a tag for you as a contributor and link to the original? Or did you just mean more screenshots? lol

@Anthraax Thanks man! those paint jobs are awesome, I absolutely love seeing these build with custom paint jobs! I sort of get, I guess numb to the build when I am working on it for hours, but then seeing it with a new paint job totally brings it back to life for me! feel free to share if you do more

I played a survival game recently that I never meant to be a Star Wars themed game when I started, but these designs are just too good not to play with lol. Props for this whole collection!

I gave my Delta-7 a custom paint job to look a bit more like the Obi-wan Delta-7 Lego set that I have and I'm really proud of how the results turned out.

Screenshots posted to my profile, along with the T-65 X-wing, LAATi Gunship, and Victory-class Star Destroyer also from the Crisp18 Star Wars collection that I ended up building in that game.
