Ranamon Race Pack

Description
Adds a new Spacer-era Digimon-Humanoid alien from Digimon.

Digimon is the offshoot of a more popular game Pokemon, In which players collect digital monsters and fight each-other with digital monsters. there are over 1,000 digimon so we had to make do with the single race.

there is a lot more I need to fix with the race itself so by no means is this a quality mod. I recommend other mods if you want a more clean race experience.



Much like the other race mods I don't have a solid Idea on what the race should actually do. glass cannon type build comes to mind. but an idea the artist suggested to me was the ability to duplicate pawns like its a giant printer or something. other powers include an ability to explode on death as a giant pulse or something might not work still in early days.



So with this ability you can duplicate a pawn in your map for 12 hours, say you are having a raid and you only have 1 shooter, with this power you can duplicate that shooter and have two good shoots when the time is needed. same with farming or mining. the Ranamon will return to its form after the aloft hours has passes or by canceling the ability power.
its also worth noting you can't duplicate other Ranamons, Ranamen?

This also has the effect of having the Ranamon race raid your colonies and takes the shape of your pawns, it's almost weird. I like it.

  • No compatibility with CE (but feel free to make a patch)





This mod is still in development and might not get changes in an instant but people in the forums wanted to try it out anyway so please keep in mind there is a lot I want to change about this race before I call it finished.
Changes:

  • Hire a new artist to make the eyes less anime and more inline with rimworld.
  • Increase chestfloof size.
  • Adding unique names and traits?
  • Make helmets fit the head
  • add a male race

@darthvaapad stopped at 1.3 if there is to be any race modifications it has to be for biotech, thats the rules now...
But if you have interest in continuing it / need or want the AI assets for them I am happy to provide

@Trinity Like support for Humanoid alien races? 1.4? not- really. kind of a shame but people are abandoning HAR for the new system in biotech. but if you or someone really wants to continue it, hit me up and I can share all the art/ extra assets.

@Halituis Amaracanous Hey, sorry I didn't give any feedback for last time. Recruiting seems to be working just fine now, no more immediately hostile transforming prisoners.

I've been noticing that transformed Ranamon raiders sometimes die as other pawns rather than exploding like normal. Nothing game-breaking of course, but it is funny having to cremate 3 copies of my own colonists occasionally (and boy, am I glad they can't copy bionics...).
