又称“大莲花”，为2022年杭州亚运会主会场举办开闭幕式。
杭州奥体中心体育场外形似莲花，造型动感飘逸，其造型取意于杭州丝绸纹理与纺织体系，建筑体态源于钱塘江水的动态，拥有简洁的花瓣单元，犹如一朵美丽的莲花绽放于钱塘江畔。
2021年2月，“大莲花”获得中国建筑业协会2020～2021年度中国建设工程鲁班奖；11月，“大莲花”被专家组评定为世界首创的浙江大学罗尧治团队研发的“现代空间结构体系创新、关键技术与工程应用”获得国家科学技术进步奖一等奖。
