So this is not a strict physics-tings
In real life, a thermostat is actually a separate device which is connected to a machine that can do the actual temperature change - something like a furnace, an electric / oil / gas heater, an air conditioner, or a heat pump. By itself, a thermostat lacks the ability to change the temperature.
So... Does this "TemperatureControlUnit" actually change the temperature colder or hotter as needed, behaving as if it had a built-in heat-pump (with an infinite source to dump waste heat)? Or does it function like a thermostat which must be connected to a separate device, such as the vanilla Cooler [rimworldwiki.com]?
