Description

Whoah, MEC is here to kick some ass.
What's in the mod?
-Classic BF2 faction, somewhere tweaked for my own favor: Regular troops, Guard reserve units, Specops(Blackops too) and Airborne troops. NOTE - If you would play with CWR3-BAF, then airborne units will have Mk3 Para steel helmets instead of 6b47. That's soft dependency feature, choose what you like.
-MEC SF units.
-Lots of CUP vehicles retextured to resemble MEC ones.
-There are few uniforms there, some are not used right now, but feel free to use them in arsenal or equip your own units. Hope, I'll update and get some guys to wear it too.
-Guys do have randomized headgear and lot's of authentical facewear, including... well yeah beards.

Recommended mods:
Best to use with TOH Characters, so their faces are not really similar.

Planned:
-Uavs
-Add 2035 vehicles with new textures - partly done.
-Fully copy CSAT infantry tree.
-National Guard units??? Desert units??? - Guard Corps added. Desert SF units added.
-Potentially do a lightweight version with a2 assets without S&S, but should I? - Dependency swapped to CWR3.

Brian Hate Games - S&S and New Wave mod.
Justin - allowed standalone usage of his M53 superb helmets.
CUP Team - dependancy which is just necessary for mod like this.
CWR3 Team - for making possible to retexture S&S gear and uniform.
Rusty - his camo templates are just the best.

Could I trouble you for an Indep version of this faction? Since some of the old Battlefield scenarios if I recall used to pit Chinese and MEC troops against each other.

Even if they didn't, I'd really like to be able to have these guys as a 3rd side in an upcoming ArmA campaign I'm trying to do. The mod Sons of Babylon already offers MEC in Indep flavor, but they don't have as much variety because SoB doesn't use CUP.

Nice mod slight issue I have found however. Loading a mission with any of the MEC Vehicles without S&S causing a bad vehicle error. I assume there is something funky in the classnames!

I know this mod is somewhat old, but I'd like you to know that the contact DLC is trying to steal your uniforms and say that they're from that mod. specifically the fatigues, both normal and desert.
