Union Pacific No.119

Description
Union Pacific No. 119 was a 4-4-0 steam locomotive made famous for meeting the Central Pacific Railroad's Jupiter at Promontory Summit, Utah, during the Golden Spike ceremony commemorating the completion of the First Transcontinental Railroad in 1869. The locomotive was built by Rogers Locomotive and Machine Works of Paterson, New Jersey in 1868, along with numbers 116, 117, 118 and 120. The original was scrapped in 1903, but a replica now operates at the Golden Spike National Historical Park.

How to Start-

1. Start firebox fire and fill injector tank.
2. Close fill valve injector tank.
3. Once boiler reaches 100 degrees start filling injector tank until it starts to gain pressure.
4. Depress brake using brake lever on the right side of the boiler.
5. Increase throttle to start moving (if throttle is at 0 it will release current steam in boiler).
6. To change direction switch reverser to other direction.

If boiler pressure keeps climbing past 7 PSI use steam release valve
