Description
Paromlin Zagreb - SILO Apartment building

Hello and welcome back to my workshop page.

This is one out of three versions i made of this asset. All three assets are Unique Buildings.

Paromlin or steam mill in English is a complex of industrial buildings located in Zagreb, Croatia near the central train station.

And i am bringing you one part of it and that is silo building. It was built in 1908 and it was first use of reinforced concrete structure of its kind in Croatia made from plans by builder Josip Dubski. For this version inspiration was an idea by a friend from Discord sending me google maps location pin from Denmark showing me how they do modern apartment silo conversions and immediately i liked the idea very much.

The asset was made with many apartments in main part of the building body and on top a large multi story penthouse.
Also with 4 small shops in the ground floor.
As the building is unique building you can add service cube assets to make it really function as any use you want. Even an office building with large communal spaces in top portion instead of an penthouse.

Also the asset is made with two additional sub mesh to achieve the look of semi transparent glass on balcony fences and glass covering on top terrace. This asset is in no means a light one but as i did some research some time ago on a decedent PC impact shouldn't be to bad if you use it in moderation.

Because PO dose not support sub mesh conversion and as aligning the sub building was not easy and precise i included the glass and shops as a separate object here in the upload. So if you convert to PO you can add glass and shop back.

Hi. Thanks for those cool buildings! ... but I have one suggestion for an update, plus for future releases ... It would be great if you could reduce the lod texture size. That is important because the lod textures are all saved in an atlas and this atlas has a limited size... if it's "full", then the game will resize certain lod textures in order to be able to fit them all in to that atlas. Therefore its important to create the lod textures as small as possible and I think a 512px lod texture for a building this size is way to big. Just my two cents ;)

Hi all, so as i updated the main mesh and LOD mesh geometry if you made it in to PO and did some changes you will maybe need to place new instance as this one might look broken. It happens if the geometry is changed in an update! Sorry for inconvinienc!
