Description

SSI - Caracal Science Rover


An off-road rover developed by SSI to explore and document uncharted terrain. Includes 2 hydrogen thrusters and a parachute for perilous terrain. Uses hinges for the doors and hood!
The Caracal features a portable, deployable beacon to mark important locations.

That's not a bad idea, I'd do that if it were my other faction, which is more pirate-y. Wanted this one to feel a bit more electronic, hence the fake antenna!

Looks interesing.

One change you might want to make is to put an exhaust block on top of the beacon. That way you can use them to mark driving routes for things like mining runs. Set the exhaust to project 'Fire' and you can see it a surprising way off, especially at night.
