Yep this grappling hook is magnetic. It should be more usable for recovery work. Uses the landing gear auto-locking feature introduced in version 01.035 as well as the electricity and control via rotors introduced in version 01.036.

When you load the game the winch is locked down. To launch the grapplers, follow the instruction below:

1. Grappler Arm - OFF
2. Winch Brake - UNLOCK (Don't turn it off)
3. Grappler Accelerator - ON
4. Press P to launch both grapplers, or manually launch them by UNLOCKing their respective controls, marked as "Grappler (Port)" and "Grappler (Starboard)".
