Operations / Procedures:

How to use Zizo's Radar

On the top left click the button "R", it will enable the radar's rotation. On the bottom right, you will see a "+" and a "-". Those two will increase or decrease the range. Mind you it can go from 250 meters to 16 KM. On the bottom left, I haven't a clue what that button does, so it doesn't really matter if you click it cause I haven't seen it change anything but either way. I encourage you to check out Zizo's Radar on your own, it's an exceptional radar and it practically catches any vehicle on the map.

Starting the Engines

In all honesty starting the modular engine is actually very easy. Only two key switches are required. Turn on the "Turn on Pump Exhaust / Pump Fuel" button and the "Engine's Ignition". Keep both those key switches on while driving.
(TIP) Keep it on 2nd gear for good performance and decent speed. She'll go 14 knots at this gear. 3rd gear is best to try to get places faster but it will heat up the engine too fast. If you need to or want to cool her down, you can let her settle in 1st gear, which will still allow you to go 7-8 knots.

Waypoint GPS

It only does around 10 waypoints. Simply add the waypoint coordinates, turn on the button above that says "AP on", then turn the key switch to "Allow Rudder Access for AP" and you'll be on your way. If you want to redo your waypoints, simply switch off "AP on" and click the button to the right that says "Clear all navigational Waypoints" and it will reset all the waypoints.

Extra information:

SN = Suit's Navy, AGS = Survey Ship, DD = Destroyer

SN "Corona" does an excellent job in patrolling around the islands. Her bow has been designed to navigate through deep seas as well. Though, that doesn't mean she doesn't have her limits at times. She does exceptional in shallow and medium waters and can withstand up to 90% of waves. However, For deep waters I have only noticed that she can go up to 65% and under. Even then, 65% may be pushing it so I suggest 60% and under in deep waters. When under heavy waves at that percentage I suggest throttling back to around 14-15 knots so she can navigate the waves without flying in the air.

During battle she does excellent at short to medium range. The only advantage the boat has at distance is the battle cannon and maybe the heavy autocannon. The boat can take quite a bit of damage, but remember it is only a survey ship. So there is a limit to the amount of damage it can take.

There is a life-raft on the back that you can deploy if the ship starts sinking. The life-raft can hold up to 8 people and holds necessary equipment to keep the survivors alive along with a flare gun, strobe light and transponder. She has the ability to save her own crew, but also the ability to save any other crew. With the transponder locator in the CIC, you will be able to locate any allied ship in distress or maybe even the enemy ship and finish them off if you're that morbid. At the stern of the ship, just behind the rotary cannon, there is a Large Winch to tow any vehicle. It has an electric cable and a regular rope to tow with.

With two 12,600 liter fuel tanks you can travel around 32 to 34 kilometers, while going on average 14-15 knots. Good luck Sailor!

Update: Please keep in mind, since the modular engines are a real troublemaker in game, I was able to fix their AFR. However, the cooling is still something to consider when sailing. If you notice the cylinders going up past 90 degrees Celsius, I suggest letting the ship cool down for some time, then be on your way. I did as much research as I could with my busy schedule and just simply found out, cooling for modular engines has always been a problem... Unfortunately, Stormworks' cooling system just sucks for 3x3s and 5x5s. Sorry for the trouble, I hope the ship still remains reliable.

I hope you all enjoy this boat and the effort I put into it, she's a real fighter! As always lemme know if there's something that could be added or improved upon!

P.S. Thanks to @EonOre for helping me test and Improve the ship.

Well uh, it already has fluid spawners, in the tanks.... So.... Yeah.... Maybe on your end you might have turned off the ability for fluid spawn.

Best thing you can do @j_thevader is simply, like I put in the instructions, is to leave it at a low throttle so that "I can believe I can fly" moments can be brought to a minimum.

Yeah you mean when you first start the boat from the dock and it goes up, or when out at seas with high waves it starts making "I believe I can fly" moments. Yeah... I agree it turns into a plane lol
Ollama Bin Laggin 26 Mar, 2022 @ 9:13am

@Kolchak I guess it all comes down to your own trigger button. I have it written in the gunner seats for the trigger button. I have it written, "Trigger" and it will use the player's own personal key button that they have for their trigger. If not that, then I'm sorry bro, I'm not quite sure how I can help you.
