Straytos Freighter MKll

The Straytos MKII Freighter also known as Y-448 during its design phases was built to update an ageing fleet and to replace the model F-224's built some 20 years before and was named Straytos in honour of the first model F Built.

Designed for survival using vanilla & DLC blocks and was built as a light long range Freighter running goods between worlds and resupplying space stations with the added ability to carry the "Ellie mining ship (sold separately) to mine those rare resources in space.

The ship has two decoys which are primarily used to attract lightning for when you are in harsh environments such as Pertam's electrical storms and there are two welders which will keep the decoys repaired protecting your ship from storms so make sure to have steel plate in your cargo boxes to keep the welders supplied.

There is a Basic Refinery and a Basic Assembler onboard and any items made by the assembler will be placed in the one yellow cargo container found in the main corridor of the ship making it easier to get to the items that have been built and all other cargo containers are white and when filled with say ore, only the white cargo containers will fill with ore and not the yellow container leaving room for stuff to be built if need be.

As for the two Connector Ports at the top of the ship the orange one is there so when you connet your mining ship it will automatically drain the ore from the mining ship and store it in the Freighter and the white one is a direct port allowing you to move items between ships manually and to refuel a small hydrogen ship.
The port at the bottom is another direct port allowing you to have the ship drained of it's contents or move items between grids and to refuel the Straytos.

The ship can be accessed from either side without needing a jet pack and the docking port at the top of the ship can be accessed from within the ship via the stairs.
The Ship can support a crew of two and the ship can be pressurized, there are crew quarters for two and each crew member has a room to themselves which can be pressurized separately.
The ship also has plently of LCD screens (12) in the ships cockpit, useful for those that wish to display extra ship info via mods/scripts.

Timer blocks added to automatically open and close doors and pressurize the ship, This works by the player going to one of the three entrances and just stand out side the door and wait for all the doors on the ship to shut, the ships passageway will depressurize and then the three entrance doors will open, once the player is in side the doors will shut behind and the passageway will pressurize and the cockpit door will then open.
