IMV-1A "Ibex" Infantry Mobility Vehicle (Armed)

After the initial production run of Ibexes was completed, AEGIS noticed a problem; sure, a rolling column of IMVs isn't going to get shot full of holes by a well-placed HMG, but what happens when the convoy gets stopped? The initial run of the IMV-1 was essentially unable to defend itself without its infantry dismounting, at which point they could be easily shot as they tried to exit the doors. The IMV-1A upgrade package was designed to solve this issue by adding a 360-degree capable armored* machine gun turret in order to deter ambushes and aid in static defense. Of course, this also significantly increased the vehicle's vertical profile, but it wasn't all that short to begin with so that was written off as an acceptable consequence. The IMV-1A retains all the features of the IMV-1 including the capacity for 8 infantry dismounts in the rear armored cab.
