! - Low physics settings is recommended, as this creation is large and has many moving parts.
! - Notify me in the comments if there are any building errors or bugs.
! - This ship is unmodded, meaning you will not have to download mods to use it.

SHIP'S LORE:
The Steamship "Etna Island", named after the island southwest of Mt. Goldblum,
was built as a passenger liner in 1906 running the Creative Island to Mt. Paradize route.
She was built with a capacity of 1256 passengers, and was the most luxurious ship
built by the people of Etna.

On her maiden voyage, April 2nd, 1907, she ran down the small tramp steamer "Hastings"
while arriving at Creative Island. She was pulled from service and repaired shortly after.

WAR SERVICE:
As WW1 came around, she was quickly taken over by the Royal Navy and converted into a troop ship, where she would carry over 9,000 troops to and from Europe. In 1916 she was torpedoed twice, but managed to escape her attacker and make it back to safety. She was again repaired shortly after, and continued her war service with little to no incident.

POST WAR:
In 1918, she was given back to the "Etna General Steamship Co." and refitted. Her boilers were in notably declining condition, but this was covered up with badly done repair jobs and she resumed service as a passenger vessel. Some of her refits after the war included:
- lifeboat capacity increased from 10 to 22
- repainted
- passenger capacity reduced to 1201 passengers
- cabin modernization

FATE:
In 1927, while on a routine voyage from Creative Island to Mt. Paradize, one of her boilers exploded on the 2nd day of her crossing early morning, causing the starboard side of her hull to tear open. This explosion damaged most of the weakened watertight doors, allowing water to seep through the ship. Within seconds, the deck was ablaze, and the fire was spreading. After the explosion, she keeled over about 40 degrees to starboard, and began to settle with little bow trim, still pushing forward at considerable speeds. As the well deck became engulfed with water, the ship took a notable plunge forward, sweeping many into the water. As lifeboats were desperately lowered, many failed to lower correctly, and the listing deck made it impossible to lower half of them.

Some did not even have time to lower them before the water climbed the boat deck. As the ship plunged deeper, and as the wheelhouse slipped underneath the sea, the first funnel came crashing down to starboard, followed by the 2nd funnel. Shortly after, she took her final plunge, rose almost vertical, and disappeared below the surface of the sea in just under 6 minutes, claiming 1143 of the 1198 aboard.

Decent ship, 5/10. I'm happy to see there was some attempt at the interior however I feel like it needs to be completely reworked. You have some good things going but for me, if the interior isn't great, the ship isn't great. I would LOVE to see this ship with a finished interior. Keep up the good work. Apologies in advance for the unwanted critique. Sincerely, Brandon

alright i'm done with the davit testing (quick because i was already in game)

and i've concluded they do infact work if you hear the mechanical whirring sound, however they are likely just incredibly slow due to lag

to help with this i'd recommend low physics setting as the ship is large and full of moving parts

the wireless room is below the bridge, which is inaccessible to air in on the side of lag

and the davits i will look into

also a radio room would be nice
