You find a derelict swimming pool near your hometown. The smell of sewage and dry blood filled the air. You felt like you've been here before. This was once a very lively place, now it's just waiting for mother nature to take over. What happened here?

A small exploration map based on liminal spaces and INFRA.

3 weeks of development, 14 strands of hair ripped off my skull and 12 cans of Pepsi Lite have been consumed as of the making of this map. This was absolute hell to work on and it's so much fun.

I decided to light the entire map using natural light as I thought it would help to make it stand out from other maps and give it a much more naturalistic look with smooth transitions from light to shadow. I also completely omitted cubemaps since it doesn't really look good in large areas, I wanted the map to look very clean and having cubemaps just looks really bad in certain points.
