Montauk Fleet Destroyer, is a completely silent running fast ambush submarine, capable of carrying 16 sonar guided torpedos with shotgun like reloading system. Montauk can achieve 55knots underwater and can reach anywhere on the ocean at any distance and at any depth. With her quick and simple reloading system and the 4 firing tubes, Montauk can deliver quick and strong hits at multiple targets and disappear into the depths in a blink of an eye thanks to her fast & silent electric drivetrain. No fleet is safe!

Quick cutaway demonstration of the torpedo reloading system:

(Note that the safety lock in this cutaway demonstration is removed in order to show how torpedos move forward. In the actual creation a locking mechanism locks the next torpedoes to prevent them from jamming the reloading hatch.)

Featuring:
  • 16 sonar guided torpedoes
  • Active Sonar
  • Seabed Sonar
  • Interactive touchscreen combat map
  • 3 beds & 1 medical bed
  • Depth hold system
  • Emergency fast ballast flooding system
  • High res camera with great zoom capabilities
  • Airlock
  • Stabilization

Stats:
  • 53 knots of topspeed underwater
  • Unlimited range
  • Up to 20km / 12miles of torpedo range at 200knots of topspeed
  • 30 meters long
  • 6.5 meters wide
  • Can sleep 3

Startup Instructions:
  • Access the submarine through the top airlock.
  • Enter the Command area, flip three circuit breakers located down-left to the helm.
  • Toggle instrument lights with designated button located on the top.
  • Turn on map and camera monitors with their corresponding buttons, located just under the left big monitor.
  • Activate "Hold Center" if you want the Map UI to follow you.
  • On your right, you can see a gauge labeled "Fusion Spooling" going up, once fusion levels are enough, an indicator will turn on (shown on the 8th picture).
  • Once "Optimal Fusion" indicator turns on, you may get going.
  • Throttle up with Up/Down keys.
  • Dive with W/S keys.
  • Steer with A/D keys.
  • You can use the depth hold system by entering a negative value to the "Set Depth" keypad and then activating the Depth Hold system by it's button or by pressing "3".

How to fire & reload the torpedoes:

  • Access the torpedo room located in the front of the submarine.
  • Fill the desired tube by turning it's corresponding key.
  • After the tube is completely filled, you can fire the torpedo by pressing the corresponding "Fire Tube 1-2-3-4" button.
Notice: you need to be completely submerged before attacking. Ideal attack depth is -15 meters but you can fire at any desired depth. Be warned that in shallow waters torpedoes might hit the bottom of the ocean and detonate. Firing one after another immediately is not recommended, also flooding the tubes in a cross pattern is recommended for balancing.

How to reload the torpedoes:
  • Deactivate the firing button.
  • Close the tube flooding hatch.
  • Engage top, bottom or both pumps to drain the water inside the tubes.
  • Once tubes are completely empty, open the reloading hatch of the desired tube by it's button "Tube Open Reloading Hatch".
  • Release the next torpedo by pressing the desired tube's "Release/Lock Next Torp." button.
  • Slide the corresponding throttle up a bit to push the next torpedo into the firing chamber.
  • Once the torpedo goes all the way in and attaches, lock the other next torpedoes by disengaging the "Release/Lock Next Torp." button.
  • Slide the corresponding throttle all the way down.
  • Close the reloading hatch.
Notice: Before filling the tube again listen carefully, sometimes torpedoes might jam the reloading hatch and prevent them from closing. In this case, the closing sound of the sliding hatch continues until the hatch is closed. If a torpedo is jammed the reloading hatch, this issue will solve itself in couple seconds. Also, I recommend disabling the fishes, they sometimes interfere with the torpedoes.

Cool sub, few comments.

Spawned it at night, couldn't navigate around, pitch black, could put a flashlight at entrance or something.

Torpedoes are good.

Couldn't climb out of it through the airlock with the ladder.

yeah, sometimes they move too slow and then explode too early
