Realistic Population Revisited 1.4.3 (Legacy version)

Description
Unsupported Legacy version
Upload of the legacy version of Realistic Population Revisited 1.4.3 for those who prefer it, for whatever reason.

The currently supported version of this mod is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED over using this version. The mod architecture used in this legacy version has a number of issues that are resolved in newer versions of this mod.

NOTE This is the 'warts-and-all' 1.4.3 version. It is no longer supported, has several known bugs, does not support many newer game mechanisms, and has poorer performance than the newer version (especially with larger cities), due to memory cache thrashing inherent in the original mod design.

This version is primarily here as a tool for myself and testers to verify the legacy calculation modes in Realistic Population 2, and to provide a performance baseline to check that the Realistic Population 2 performance increases haven't been impacted by any subsequent changes. Others are free to use it as well, if they so wish.

Use this at your own risk!

To clarify for everybody:

There is no intent to remove this version from the Workshop; it will remain here for anybody who still wishes to use it.

I actually use it myself (as do some testers) to cross-check the legacy calculation modes of version 2, and as a performance baseline to make sure that the version 2 performance improvements haven't been impacted by any subsequent changes. So it's not going anywhere.

This item is unlisted, so won't appear in searches (to avoid confusing new players - yes, that is actually an issue with mods on the workshop),but is still visibile and accessible to everyone with the direct link (and will remain so).

This item is currently linked directly from the version 2 page, and I'll keep a link on that page for as long as is practical - if I do have to move it (due to character limitations, most likely) I'll put it in a discussion so that you can easily find it again if you need to.
