Description
You don't need to start a new save for this mod.

Description
Right click the tile you're standing on to set your description, right click tiles other players are standing on to examine them and view their set description. Pairs best with my roleplaychat mod, that adds full RP functionality to the chatbox.

Optionally add your character art in the portraits section of the bio menu.

For Server Owners who used this mod in previous versions
You can view all set descriptions via the cachedir/lua folder in a file called CharacterBioStorage.json and filter by username. On latest version, these descriptions are stored in global moddata and not so easily browsed on the server end. This change was to cut out the file writing performance impact.

Upcoming Updates
This mod should no longer require updates as it is in a 'final' state. It will be maintained across game versions, but to preserve your saved descriptions from being lost, I will try my best to avoid updating this mod where I can help it.

thanks, solved, but i removed this mod cause it delete the character's surname on my server, i don't know if it is a conflict with another mod or not

@UattO Check that your provided portrait URL matches their desired filter website. Usually servers require imgur images for safety, but yours may be different. Ask an admin

Hi, sure this issue came from my unexperiece, i'm trying to add a picture as portrait for my character in a dedicated server, but apparently any url taken from google images doesn't work for me...what am i messing?

Hello Buffy,

I would like to modify your mod to allow server admins to utilize bio descriptions. As of now, server admins default to using their username, which results in the name over their head not displaying their bio. I have found a workaround for this and am asking for permission to upload a modified version with my fix.
