Description
"It's a bird! It's a plane! It's Manic's Turkish Portraits"!

This mod aims to breathe some new life into the Turkish portraits, make them a little more accurate to how they would have appeared before they integrated into the populations of the Near East, and make them appear less 'nomadic' in the late game when, historically, they had largely become settled peoples in Persia and Anatolia.

Contents
Turkish portraits are now generally more Asiatic in their appearance, as they probably would have been in real life for most of the game's time frame[upload.wikimedia.org].

Both male and female faces use a mixture of recoloured/retextured assets from the Turkish, Cuman and Finno-Ugric portrait packs. Both male and female portraits now use a Cuman base with Finno-Ugric noses. Men use their vanilla mouths and Cuman eyes, while women use their vanilla eyes with Cuman mouths. Both sexes continue to use vanilla Turkish clothing/headgear and hairstyles/beards in the early and mid game.

To reflect the influences that Persian/Iranian culture had on them during and after the Seljuk era, late-game Turkish characters now use Persian clothing and headgear, with Muslim beards and hairstyles.

Compatibility
This mod has a very simple file structure and doesn't edit any core game files. As such, it should be compatible with virtually any other mod that doesn't also alter Turkish portraits.

This mod should be fully Ironman and savegame compatible.

Alternate downloads
For those who experience issues with the Steam Workshop and want some alternate download options, a .zip version of this mod can be downloaded HERE[www.dropbox.com].

To install, simply remove the two items from the .zip folder and place them in your CK2 mod folder.

If you want to use all of my portrait mods but hate all the clutter in your launcher, I recommend using Manic's Portraits instead.

Sory, but can you modificate hungarian unit pack? In early game it must use original units from turkish u.p. dlc, in midgeym - croatian units from your u.p. and in late geym - late german units.

Great! Thanks!

Now we could need possibly still some variation for the North-indian border regions (Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iran, Irak, just where or when it "touches" India). Basically where no Hindu and Sikh religion and culture resided. This is a wild suggestion, because i didn't look very close into it (usually do not play in that area ... but just from watching roughly, the darkbrown-skinned guys go a bit too far into the north from the map, imo.).
