Grumman X-29

Description
This is the NASA operated Grumman X-29 experimental plane, made to test the aerodynamics of a forward swept wing and canards. The plane was flown from late 1984 to 1991. After the grumman X-29's design was chosen for funding, two planes were built. The planes wings used for weight reduction and to manage the twisting forces of a forward sweep of 33 degrees. The plane would not have been possible without the development of carbon-fiber composites.

Competing designs like the Rockwell's Sabrebat and the F-16 SFW (Swept Forward Wing) were never flown. The Sabrebat only had a mock up made and the F-16's design proposal lost in competition to the X-29 (then designated G-712).

The creation is unstable like the real counterpart, and "high maneuverability-mode" (HMM) is even more so. The setting should only be used in 1-2 second bursts without max input, as this usually leads to a pitch up feedbackloop. It is a maneuver that i believe is unique to forward swept and/or canard fitted planes. as the center of lift is closer or in front of the center of mass causing the plane to pitch up. I will try to fix this issue and other issues with the plane. The creation allso lacks many features and functions, like the dials not working and wheelbrakes.

To do list:
Make front wheel steerable.
Make creation more stable while taxiing and landing.
Adding landingbrakes and parkingbrake.
Giving cockpit dials usable telemetry.
Refining the HMM.
Possibly remaking livery.
Bodging or overhauling (less likely) the logic system.
Reworking engine-control.

Please do comment issues and features you want to see fixed, changed or added.
Enjoy!
