Immersive Campaign: Greek States Pyrrhus of Epirus Faction Leader Reskin (Standalone)

Description

Who is the mod for?
Anyone who is playing the Vanilla Grand Campaign and wants to feel more immersed in the campaign map playing as the Epirus, the Greek States or as any faction interacting with the Greeks.

What does this mod do?
Exactly as described on the tin: Enhances the Faction leader of Epirus by reskinning them to a more historical feel by using existing vanilla assets, without going overboard. This only changes the Faction leader, nothing else.

Why was this mod created?
Because I never found any mod that did what I wanted it to do - and be standalone.
I took inspiration from the marble bust found in the Villa of the Papyri located in Hercalineum, which has so far been the only bust ever found of Pyrrhus. I took further inspiration from historical depictions of the Epirote army during this time period, and coins with Pyrrhus' image.

In addition, Plutarch writes in Pyrrhus' Biography that he was famous for his Horned Greek Helmet, which is what I gave him.

Using the vanilla assets I modelled him as best I could while staying true to the in-game feel. The only downside is that Creative Assembly didn't bother implementing a unique front-end faction leader for each faction (although they did create them for the launch factions, just never properly implemented them ingame). This means that you will unfortunately see this particular general skin pop up at different greek factions as a generic general. Nothing I can do about that unfortunately.

Does this mod have any compatibility issues?
Nope - it only changes the textures of Epirus' Faction leader - this is meant for Vanilla.

I personally play this with a 12 Turn Per Year mod enabled.

@DEW-ME: As long as this is loaded above DEI, should work.
@pablost233: Unfortunately at the start of the Grand Campaign Julius Caesar doesn't exist, so can't mod his character model.

Shame Pyrrhus died so poorly by a roof slate thrown at his head.

The armor in this mod did you find it as it is in PFM tables or did you combine and other stuff?

@Alexander The Greek: Thank you for the comment! However this is the mod as-it-is, using completely vanilla assets, for my personal use, which I decided to share with the greater community if they wish it. It is not meant to be 100% historically accurate, only historically inspired, this is why I made this for Vanilla and not DeI, as I prefer not to play with DeI.
