How to play
The Magellan is a high-tech sub designed for crews of scientists to be able to study the Europan seas. It's equipped with state of the art automated drones that can shoot their pulse lasers on incoming threats. Crews can detach said drones and move them around in order to protect other areas of the sub while still retaining the option to manually aim the weapons if they so desire.

A set of two electrical discharge coils is wired to go off on enemies approaching the delicate upper hull, featuring an observation area where the research stations are. Should the glass canopy break, protective plating will close off the roof, preventing excessive flooding of the sub. Crewmen can then either override the protection system and quickly deal with the breach or perform repairs from the outside.

The middle deck is dedicated to crew quarters, featuring luxurious living rooms and bunks, making the Magellan a very comfortable sub that is well versed in personnel transport. The final touch is given by a self-regulating (albeit extremely delicate) reactor aided by a battery array that kicks in during downtimes.

Author's notes
Supposedly a very comfortable sub to crew, but the upper glass canopy and lower mobile lasers can keep the crew active. Remember that you can override/prevent the canopy protection through the lever in the upper deck.

To move the drones, first detach them and make sure to be on autoaim, then hold down LMB in order to accelerate towards the cursor; follow the lights around the sub to be able to navigate from one side to another.

Other subs I've made:

Katyusha 34 Battlecruiser
Acolyte Spearhead Sub
Die Königin Command Sub
Atlas Battle Freighter
Scrapjack Bomber
Audace Stealth Corvette
